Booking Terms & Conditions

Payment 

Full payment for your stay is required at the time of booking. 

Confirmation 

 A reservation is considered provisional until the host confirms acceptance of the reservation. We confirm the reservation by email or platform messaging services.  Accommodation Dates cannot be held or reserved until payment is received in full.    

Cancellations and Refunds: 

You may cancel an accommodation at any time prior to check in. Cancellations must be done in writing (e.g. email / platform messaging services).   Full refunds on Accommodations are permitted when you cancel within 48 hours after booking same, provided the agreed-upon check-in date is more than 10 days following the cancellation notice. If you cancel a reservation more than 48 hours after booking same, which cancellation notice is not less than 90 days prior to your agreed upon check-in date, you will receive a 50 percent refund.  No refunds are permitted for cancellations within 90 days of the agreed-upon check-in date.  

Security Deposit Authorization Hold  

The day prior to check in, an authorization hold for security deposit will be processed on your credit card.  

Damages to Property  

As a guest of Our properties, you are responsible for leaving the Accommodation (including any personal or other property located at the Accommodation) in the condition it was in when you arrived. You and those in your party are responsible for your own acts and omissions, and you and those in your party are also responsible for the acts and omissions of any individuals whom you/your party invite to, or otherwise provide access to, the Accommodation. 

Should We determine that you, someone in your party, or someone you invited to the Accommodation damaged real or personal property during your stay, including, but not limited to, broken furniture or fixtures, holes in walls, and smoking inside the Accommodation, you hereby acknowledge, agree, and authorize Us to charge the card identified when you provided the Payment Information. The charge(s) to replace/repair damaged real and/or personal property will be itemized and sent to the e-mail address you provided during the Reservation Procedure. You will have 30 days to dispute the charges for damage(s) to the Accommodation. To submit a dispute, please send an e-mail to us at host@booknightly.com detailing your reason for disputing the charge(s) for damages. 

Unavailability of the Accommodation and Situations Affecting Your Stay 

In the event an Accommodation becomes unavailable prior to your agreed upon reservation, We will notify you by e-mail at the e-mail address you provide Us and automatically cancel your booking. At that time, you will have the option to either (a) obtain a full refund on your Accommodation, or (b) relocate to another Accommodation of lessor or equal value, subject to availability (c) retain a credit for future accommodation.

Occupancy Term  

Use of premises shall commence at 3:00 PM on the date of the scheduled check in and will immediately terminate at 11:00 AM on the day of the scheduled check out.   

Special events: 

Events are by inquiry only and must be authorized prior to making the reservation.  WE DO NOT ALLOW BACHELOR / BACHELORETTE PARTIES or any other loud and boisterous gatherings.  Any unauthorized events will result in additional fees and eviction from the property.

Cleaning 

Daily housekeeping services are not included in the cleaning fee.  Guest will be responsible for keeping the property clean and in good condition throughout the rental period.  Daily housekeeping services may be available for an additional charge upon request, contingent on our housekeeping service provider's availability.  

Smoking 

Smoking or vaping of tobacco, marijuana, or any illicit substance is prohibited inside the Accommodation.  If smoking or vaping outside it must be done at least 5 feet from any doors or windows, and all doors and windows must remain closed. All cigarette butts and other smoking related refuse must be disposed of appropriately. The cost of any repairs or services required to deodorize or otherwise remedy any damage resulting from smoking on site will be the responsibility of the guest and will follow Damage procedures as outlined above.  

Noise 

Our guests are required to abide by the City of New Orleans Noise Ordinance, which requires exterior noise be kept at a minimum between the hours of 10:00PM-7:00 AM Monday-Friday, and 10:PM-8:00AM Saturday and Sunday.   Thank you for helping us be a good neighbor.
